My approach bridges body, mind, soul, ancestry and social context to support healing and growth that is deeply personal and collectively aware. I use realism, non-judgement, compassion, acceptance and relationship to delve into all the messy, wonderful aspects of being human.
I believe in working collaboratively, with deep respect for your autonomy, inner wisdom, and lived experience. I don’t shy away from the gritty or uncomfortable spaces, and we can go there together, at your pace. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you, but about reconnecting with or (re)discovering the wholeness that’s already there.
My therapeutic approach is body-based, inclusive, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, humanistic and relational; grounded in an eclectic blend of different modalities and influenced by existentialism to provide care that is integrative, embodied and responsive to your unique needs while also practicing decolonized therapeutic work through a culturally humble lens. I work directly with the nervous system to support you in metabolizing where you've been, integrating new skills and laying a holistic foundation for where you want to go through a balance of gentle tenderness and direct challenges.
Whether you're moving through everyday overwhelm, life transitions, loss of self/other, extensive trauma or existential questions around life and death, therapy with me is a space to feel deeply, move freely, and be fully human; without having to go it alone. My intention is to support you in transforming your relationship to self and others into a fully lived experience where you can move through this world grounded in your own authentic being.

My identity as a queer, multiply-disabled, autistic, and non-binary therapist is central to how I show up in the therapeutic space. My own journey has given me a deep appreciation for the complexities of identity, the power of a healthy relationship to self, and the impact of living authentically in a world that demands conformity.
As a speaking autist who also experiences situational mutism, I am attuned to the fluidity of communication and the importance of creating a space where all forms of expression are valid and honored. My personal experiences with late-identified neurotype, masking, and identity confusion deeply inform my capacity to understand and support others, so they may move through the world feeling empowered and with greater choice. Additionally, my experiences with death and near-death have given me an intimate understanding of the existential questions that arise around life, loss, trauma, and mortality. This allows me to sit with clients in the deepest of places, offering grounded support during the most challenging moments.
My experiences as a parent of neurodivergent children, a domestic violence survivor, and someone who has navigated a shifting socioeconomic status give me a unique understanding of systemic inequalities and the genuine challenges faced by our most vulnerable communities. These life experiences inform my practice, fostering an environment that is not only compassionate but also deeply aware of and challenging toward the structural, institutional, and societal factors that impact health and well-being.
Having lived in a fat, disabled body after years in a thin, able-bodied one, I am acutely aware of the biases projected onto bodies of varying sizes and abilities. This lived knowledge informs my commitment to body neutrality, inclusivity, and the dismantling of harmful societal norms. These personal experiences also provide a unique capacity to support clients through medical trauma, offer accessible somatics, and provide reality-based therapeutic work that meets you exactly where you are.
My blended cultural and religious background—including Christian, Islamic, Catholic, Agnostic, and Jewish influences—gives me a unique perspective on the intersection of spirituality, identity, and personal narrative. I strive to create a space where your unique identity and experiences are not only acknowledged but celebrated and respected. I recognize the complexity of my own white-bodied and passing privilege, and I am dedicated to using this privilege in service of my community and in service of advocacy. I aim to face whiteness directly, to challenge internalized "isms" with intention, and to be a safe-enough space for all bodies and experiences.
I approach this work with humility, recognizing that my positionality impacts the therapeutic relationship. I am committed to ongoing self-reflection, education, and critical feedback to ensure my practice remains affirming and responsive to the diverse needs of all. I respect and honor our shared humanity, recognizing that mistakes and misunderstandings can happen. It is my intention to lean into discomfort and compassionate dialogue, and to work together respectfully in bridging difference.
