Insurance

Many of our providers are able to accept most major insurances including: Aetna, Cigna, Evernorth, Optum, Rocky Mountain Health Plans, United Health Care Insurance, Colorado Access, CCHA and Medicaid health plans for those residing in all of Colorado with Kaiser, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem coming soon. If we do not accept your insurance, we will gladly provide you with monthly receipts or superbills that you may provide to your insurance personally to process claims or request reimbursement. Services may be covered in full or part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please contact your insurance company to check your coverage.

Equity Pricing

We believe that healing is a collective responsibility and that financial barriers should not dictate the quality of care you receive. To honor our commitment to both accessible care and sustainable provider livelihoods, several of our providers offer a sliding scale or equity-based pricing model. This system allows those with greater financial security to pay a standard rate that helps subsidize lower-cost spots for community members navigating systemic economic oppression. If our standard rates are a barrier to your care, please reach out—we are happy to discuss available options or provide referrals to ensure you are supported.

Self-Pay

Fees range from $75-$200 per 50 minute session and are based on the individual provider. We accept most major payment options.

We recognize that navigating out-of-pocket costs can be a challenge in our current economic landscape. We view these services as a direct investment in your long-term well-being and professional growth—offering a dedicated space for the kind of deep, focused work that traditional insurance models often don't account for. By choosing these paths, you are prioritizing a specialized form of care and reclamation that centers your unique history and joy.

All service fees are due at the time of service.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. For clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance for their sessions (Self-Pay), we provide an estimate of the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including psychotherapy. While the nature of therapy is dynamic, this estimate helps ensure there are no unexpected financial hurdles in your healing process. Your provider will provide a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, and you can ask for one at any time during your treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute your bill.  Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information to your right for a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 720-504-5169.

Additional Services

While many insurance plans provide coverage for group therapy sessions, please note that specialized offerings such as therapeutic intensives and workshops are not covered by insurance and are considered an out-of-pocket expense. Additionally, our coaching services and professional services—including consultations, groups and professional development trainings—fall outside the scope of clinical mental health billing and cannot be submitted to insurance. All additional services are due at the time of service.

Insurance FAQ’s

Navigating the insurance industrial complex can be overwhelming. To help you advocate for your own care and understand your benefits, we recommend asking your insurance carrier the following questions:

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, has it been met for the year, and does it apply to outpatient mental health services?

  • What is my co-pay or co-insurance? This is the fixed amount or percentage you are responsible for at each visit.

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits? If we do not take your specific plan, your insurance may still reimburse you for a portion of the "Self-Pay" cost if you submit a monthly superbill (receipt) from us.

  • Are there limits on sessions? Some plans limit the number of sessions or require "prior authorization" after a certain point. While we aim to track this as much as possible, ultimately, it is the client responsibility to ensure coverage.
